Newtons cove

Yesterday we went to newtons cove. Its great there because its so sheltered, on weymouth beach there were 40mph winds and here you were none the wiser that anything was going on. nothe gardens is lovely as well, we walked through the trees and along the breakwater by the sea, afterwards we went into town for fish and chips at the marlboro which was great :)

Here are some pics...

This is the view from the town bridge in weymouth, an iconic picture in the town which is printed onto many postcards and calendars.

Newtons cove, very calm and tranquil while round the other side of the fort, 40mph winds are battering the beach.

Nothe gardens looking great in the summer sunshine.
